Inspired by the paws that have graced our lives and the natural wonders that accompany them, these bowls celebrate the connection between animals, nature, and the everyday moments that bring us joy. With their serene koi pond motif and timeless craftsmanship, they are a gentle reminder of the beauty that surrounds us, both in the wild and at home.
This beautiful bowl depicts a Japanese Koi Pond, where Koi (or nishikigoi) symbolise luck, prosperity, good fortune and perseverance. Similarly in Indian art, fish often represent fertility and abundance, as seen in Madhubani paintings. This a Chokar Exclusive. Traditionally, Blue Pottery is celebrated for its flora and fauna motifs, along with its intricate geometric patterns. This design embraces that rich heritage while offering a contemporary interpretation, staying true to the craft’s timeless aesthetic and artistic framework.
We imagine this bowl holding fruits, flowers, candles, treasured knick-knacks, seashells collected over the years, potpourri, or even a beloved plant.
